Live long.Live well.

Presented byBlack Veterans for Social Justice

Black Veterans for Social Justice has been serving Brooklyn for more than 47 years, helping veterans and the community with stable housing, mental health support, benefits and long term financial stability. Long Live Brooklyn is the day we put you and your health needs at the front of the line, and the doors are open to everybody.

Spend the afternoon in a Brooklyn sound stage. Move with trainers who work with pros, get screened, and learn what your body needs from food. Sit with insurance professionals to get answers about coverage and veterans benefits. Then move to the Kitchen Table Conversation, where experts in their field separate medical fact from fiction and share tips on how to live a long healthy life. Leave knowing where you stand, what to do about it, and how to protect yourself this winter season.

One room, four stations
